Have you read this book?

The world in which we live is becoming a dangerous place for true bible believing Christians. To make matters worst, there is so much apostasy going on in the church. There are so many ministries and bible teachers out there teaching false doctrine. The sad part is that many in the body of Christ don't know what is real biblical truth or heresy. Lots of people stand in the pulpit telling people what they think the bible says and take scriptures out of context. Just because someone is a pastor does not mean they are free from error. This is why I love reading and studying my bible so I can check what is said against scripture. Think about this...just because society is changing does not mean we're supposed to change to fit in with it. How will we truly be salt and light, or those who are set apart for God? People out here hardly take Christians serious anymore because of how so many are behaving. God is not being represented like He should be. This is really BAD.

My family and I spent the last few months digesting Family Driven Faith by Voddie Baucham Jr. and having many long discussions. We continue to see areas where God wants to grow/mature us. I had an opportunity to review this book 8 years ago. So much has changed in me spiritually since that time. I continue to examine myself to see how I'm lining up with God's view of things. You can read my review of Family Driven Faith on this page (scroll down to the 6th review). Reading through this a 2nd time around was so needed. We live in a time where it is dangerous to hold to God's absolutes on any subject matter.  As believers we need to be careful we are not allowing the culture to turn us away from true biblical thinking. I strongly encourage any believer to pick up a copy of this book and learn what it means to have a biblical worldview.

Vremi Coffee Grinder & Knife Set {Review}

Have you ever heard of Vremi? Vremi is a company that “provides high-quality, user-friendly, and affordable products that are full of personality for your home, kitchen, and office”. Be sure to head over to their website to learn more about them. I recently had the opportunity to review two products from their line of kitchen items. Read on to learn more.

Vremi Sharp As A Knife
First up is the Vremi 10 Piece Colorful Sharp As A Knife Set. This is a set of 5 different colored chef knives. These knives come with 5 matching sheath covers, and are non-stick, odor, and stain resistant. The blades are a high-quality stainless steel that is rust, and dull proof. The protective covers are 100% BPA free plastic. The knives themselves are lightweight, and have a soft touch grip handle that provides a non slip grip. Just as the name says these knives are sharp and “VERY SHARP” I might add. You want to be extra cautious with these bad boys. Luckily the matching sheath covers protects you from the sharp blades, and it allows for safer storage in your kitchen drawer.

Sharp As A Knife Set Puns
As I opened up the box that came in the mail (USPS), the first thing I noticed were the puns all over the outside and inside the box. I read things like “A Cut Above The Rest.”, “Lookin’ Sharp.”, “Slice To Meet You.”, and so on. As I read on and on my hubby was looking at me like “baby they sound dangerous…don’t hurt yourself using those things”. LOL

Sharp As A Knife Set
The Sharp As A Knife set is not dishwasher safe. You will want to hand wash these with very warm water and dish soap. Then dry immediately and store back in their protective cases. This set comes with the following:

RedChef Mercenary Knife”- this knife is 8” and is good for everyday use. You can use it to do things like dice onions, mince shallots, chop herbs, crush garlic, slice meats, and shred lettuce or cabbage. It also has a curved tip for scooping.

BlueBread Bandit Knife”- this knife is 8" and has extremely sharp serrated edges. You can use is it for slicing soft and crusty loaves of bread, delicate cakes and pastries, squishy tomatoes, trimming pineapples or melons, shredding lettuce or cabbage, cutting cheese, slicing salami, and carving roasts or poultry.

OrangeParing Pirate Knife”- this knife is 3.5" and can easily cut through ginger, peel fruits and vegetables like apples and potatoes. It also has a sharp point tip suited for sculpting or carving details on watermelons, and deveining shrimps.

Purple Carving knife is 8” long.

Yellow Utility Chef’s knife is 5” long.

I have enjoyed using these knives almost daily when I prep and cook our meals. I love the ease of slicing tomatoes and meats, dicing onions, and chopping fruits and veggies without having to saw into them due to a dull blade. It was like cutting in butter. My oh my!

Bump 'N Grind Coffee Grinder
Next up is the Vremi Black Electric Blade Coffee Grinder. It features a “sleek rubber exterior, silicone (anti-slip) feet, stainless steel blades, and an easy one-touch control setting”. It is BPA free. The lid can be hand washed in warm soapy water, rinsed, and dried. The inside where the blade is can be wiped with a damp paper towel. It also comes with a mini cleaning brush to help brush out all of the coffee grounds to use when making coffee.

Bump 'N Grind Coffee Puns
Again I noticed on this box all the funny puns on the outside and inside. I read things like “Shake Your Beans.”, “Grind With Care.”, “Java Jammin’.”, and so on. My hubby loved this box. He thinks the puns were really clever. He’s the BIG coffee lover in our home so he uses this coffee grinder the most. He has never ground his own coffee before so this is now his favorite kitchen toy gadget. I would have loved to get him this for Father’s Day if I had not gotten it sooner.

Vremi Bump 'N Grind Coffee Grinder
This baby makes medium coarse coffee grounds so don’t expect to get a VERY fine powder from it. To operate you simply pour your whole coffee-beans in the grinder, place the lid on top, plug in the power cord, and press the down on the top (button) for 30-60 seconds (pulsing for 15 seconds and stop then continue). A few seconds is enough and all it takes for good ground coffee. After that you just measure your desired amount of coffee to brew, and you’re good to go. A word of caution: it is not recommended you try to use this to grind anything other than coffee beans.

It was nice getting to try out these products. I also liked the 50% off coupon cards included in the boxes. I was sure to take advantage of that great deal. Now for you my lovely readers I have permission to hold a giveaway of this bundle. This is an opportunity for you to have a shot at winning this same Vremi Coffee Grinder and Knife Set of your own.
