"The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands". Prov.14:1 (NASB)

About Me

Why "My Life 0utside the Box"? Because I live and do things very differently from most people I personally know. They can't figure me out and probably think it strange, but I love who I am, and have embraced being different from the norm. I refuse to let others/society define who/how I should be. I AM NOT my hair. my skin color, my social, or economic status. I AM a child of the one and true living God. I AM who He says I am. My identity, self-worth, and value are found in Jesus Christ. This and only this defines who I am and how I should live my life.

This blog is a peek into my life as a late 40's-year-old stay-at-home mom and wife.  Green and Mahogany are my favorite colors. Fall is my all-time favorite season of the year. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays. I love being frugal, cooking in my crockpot or pressure cooker, and learning new things. I'm a follower of Christ, a wife, a mom, a tea lover, and I dibble and dabble in scrapbooking. The best thing in the world is all the time I get to spend making cherished memories with my family. Although I love all things domestic, I do have my silly moments (just ask my friends and family), and I love to help and encourage others. Daily I strive to live out Proverbs 31:10-31Ephesians 5:1-2, Ephesians 5:8-11, Ephesians 5:15-33, Titus 2:3-5, and 1 Peter 3:1-6 as I continue to grow to be the woman God created me to be.

Hello again Tajuana, I thought I would introduce myself 😃 Like you, people generally don't know what to think of me! I fit no stereotype. I love homemaking and have been a Stay at home wife to my college sweetheart for almost 30 years. I have 3 adult children, 26, 24, and 20. I homeschooled them all...and I loved it! I'm a Christian, wife, and homemaker and like you I'm not defined by my hair, skin color, or what's popular.😉

Praise the Lord Meesha! What a testimony. I just celebrated my 23rd anniversary Jan. 31st. We were only blessed with only 1 and he's now 19 years old (and special needs). I homeschooled him from 2nd grade through high school graduation. I love being a homemaker too. It's tough financially but rewarding to minister in this way to my family.
