"The wise woman builds her house, But the foolish tears it down with her own hands". Prov.14:1 (NASB)

What is Salvation?

Through reading the Bible one will learn about God's wonderful plan of salvation. It's purpose is to:

* Cleanse us from sin
* Restore our broken relationship with God
* Give a meaningful purpose to one's life
* Prepare your soul for eternity

You can receive this salvation today. In order to be saved you must know and believe:

1. Mankind is born a sinner and helpless before a Holy God.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" ~Romans 3:23

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us" ~1 John 1:8

2. The price for sin is death and eternal separation from God.
"Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned" ~Romans 5:12

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" ~Romans 6:23

3. God holds us personally responsible for our own sin.
"So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God" ~Romans 14:12

"How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation?" ~Hebrews 2:3

4. God offers forgiveness through the death of His Son- Jesus.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life" ~John 3:16

5. Salvation is freely offered as a gift of love.
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Spirit" ~Titus 3:5

"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast" ~Ephesians 2:8-9

6. You may experience salvation by placing your trust in the risen Lord Jesus Christ.

"That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation" ~Romans 10:9-10

If you would like to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior please pray this prayer with me:

"Dear Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and ask you to forgive me. I know that I can never earn my salvation by doing good works. I believe that You love me and that You died and rose again so that I can be forgiven and know You. Please come into my heart and be Lord of my life. Thank You for loving and saving me. I am thankful that I can know you here on earth and spend the rest of eternity with You in heaven. In Jesus’ name, Amen".
