Colossians 4:2 (NKJV)

"Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving"

Now that this completes my month of giving thanks, let's remember to continue giving thanks on into the new year and every day we have breath to breathe. Thanks for joining me each week through Thanksgiving. I pray we go into this Christmas season keeping Christ at the forefront of the reason why we celebrate. May God bless each and every one of you.

Colossians 3:15-17 (NKJV)

"And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him."

As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him,

Reusable Mesh Bags {Review}

Are you a fan of reusable shopping bags? Does it seem like you come home from the store with way too many plastic store bags? I recently had the opportunity to review some products that can help me keep the plastic bag clutter at bay. Keep reading while I tell you all about them.

SGM Eco Mesh Bags
The name of the product is SGM Eco Reusable Mesh Produce Bags. These Eco-friendly bags are made of nylon, and each has a drawstring (durable bead) closure. Because they are reusable they are able to “be machine washed over and over again”. They come as a 12 pack with bags of 3 different sizes. There are 3 small red 12 x 8”, 6 medium green 12 x 14”, and 3 large blue 12 x 17” multipurpose mesh storage bags. The cost to purchase this set is $11.95 over at SGM Amazon.

Mesh Resuable Bags
The SGM Eco Mesh Bags can be taken to the store to use when grocery shopping for fresh fruits, veggies, or herbs. Instead of looking for those plastic bags for fresh produce, you can put them right in these bags. The fact that you can see through the bags are a plus. Since these bags are reusable you can “reduce your plastic waste” by taking them on every shopping trip.

SGM Eco Mesh Reusable Bags
In the bottom pic above I’m showing how each bag comes with a Tare Weight Tag on the side of them. This can be very helpful when grocery shopping. The bags can also be used at home to store your produce while still inside the bag. In the pic below you can see my cabbage and carrots still inside the mesh bags in the bottom crisper drawer.

Resuable Mesh Bags
SGM Eco Reusable Mesh bags can be used to store other things too like kids toys, baby items, cosmetics, hair care tools and accessories, office or craft supplies, gym clothes or shoes, laundry delicates, and even be used to carry things with you camping, to the beach, or whenever you're traveling. I have found these bags to come in handy on a daily basis around the house or when I’m out and about. It was nice being chosen to try out this product. I love how versatile these reusable bags are. For Today: 11/5/18
_____________________________

Looking out my window
I see leaves of all colors covering the ground. I just love the look of Fall. It’s cloudy out and we’re supposed to get some rain. Our high for today is 69 degrees.

I am thinking
I'll be glad when the midterm elections are over. Election time seems to bring out the worst in people. I just want to think about Thanksgiving.

I am thankful
For God providing all our needs.

One of my favorite things
Celebrating Thanksgiving with loved ones. I have been craving turkey and dressing, mashed potatoes and gravy, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, and sweet potato pie. Of course, there'll be much more than that on the menu ;-)

I am creating
This Simple Woman Journal post.

I am wearing
A brown blouse and Khakis pants.

I am reading
The book of Jude for my bible study.

I’m watching
How to make DIY Dollar Tree Christmas decorations on YouTube.

I am hoping
To finalize my plans for Thanksgiving by the end of the week.

I am learning
To make more time for Self Care.

In my kitchen
Sweet Potato Butter
This time I made some sweet potato butter! It is really yummy. I'm planning to make some Zucchini, Pumpkin, and Chocolate Chip Banana breads real soon. All my harvest butters taste great spread on them.

Board room
I love making compound butters this time of year. Here is a place with 42 different flavors I can’t wait to explore https://www.pinterest.com/pin/303218987396740292/.

Post Script
Ten years ago I discovered a website called Organized Christmas. There are some great tips for helping you get prepared for the holidays.
