For Today: 5/6/19

Looking out my window
It’s sunny outside and I see some breeze blowing the tree leaves.
Our high for today is 78 degrees.
Our high for today is 78 degrees.
I am thinking
About how much I miss my uncle who passed away on May 10th last year :(
I am thankful
For God blessing us to only have to pay $70 for a washer and dryer. A lady was desperate to get it out of her home before her family had to leave the next day to go overseas.
One of my favorite things
Chocolate Oreo 1/2 priced shakes at Sonics :)
I am creating
This Daybook post.
I am wearing
A yellow T-shirt and black capris.
I am reading
Still working through the book of 1 Corinthians for Bible Study.
I’m watching
Not much at the moment but I did finally finish up the whole series of “Pride and Prejudice” last week. It was good.
I’ve been listening to
Not much of anything.
I am hoping
I get everything I plan to use to finish organizing my laundry room this month.
I am learning
To be anxious for nothing, content, and to pray without ceasing.
In my kitchen
I made some pickled red onions. They turned out really tasty for some soft tacos we had. YUM!
Board room
Do you wash out your washing machine? I hear it’s good to do so once about every 3 months so you don’t have stinky/dirty buildup. I tried this out from Pinterest and it worked
Post Script
I always enjoy the encouragement of homemaking and biblical wifehood from Mrs. Roxy. If you haven’t already, I invite you to check out her blog “Living From Glory to Glory”.

A moment from my day
Enjoying some leftover Barbacoa from our DIY Chipotle meal. This stuff is SO GOOD y’all.
