Yes indeed! Staying in the Word gives me peace of mind no matter what is going on around me. The secret to me getting gifts I love is that I keep an ongoing wish list in my journal. I share it with my hubby a few times during the year to keep him up to date on what I've been eyeing. It helps them to know what kind of stuff I really want when it comes time to buy me something ;-)
