For Today: 5/7/20

Looking out my window
The sun has been out but it’s getting cloudy. Our high for today is 64 degrees.
I am thinking
About how much things have changed since this COVID- 19 pandemic hit.
I am thankful
For a well-stocked pantry, household, and personal products.
One of my favorite things
Cookies and Cream ice cream :)
I am creating
A date night notebook for me and hubby :)
I am wearing
A blue tunic and blue jean jeggings.
I am reading
Morning devotions with my hubby.
I’m watching
Catching up on subscribed Youtube videos.
I’ve been listening to
The sound of my washer and dryer going.
I am hoping
I was looking forward to the Farmer’s Market opening up this month. There have been lots of changes because of the Coronavirus. Not sure if we will go anytime soon.
I am learning
To just enjoy the moment.
In my kitchen
I made some Lacto fermented Mayo. YUM!
Something of Value
Regina over at "Plain Keeper at Home" wrote a great post about "Being Our Husband's Cheerleader" that I invite you to read.
Post Script
I’m shocked the “God’s Plan for Christian Wives” series I wrote is still one of my top-visited set of posts.

A moment from my day
My 5 lbs. of Shea Butter I ordered came in. I'm making some hair and body butters for myself. I love this stuff!
Closing Notes
Hope you enjoyed a little peek into my life. Be sure to head on over to the host site to read other ladies' Simple Woman Daybooks.

I enjoyed visiting your Daybook today and catching a glimpse of your world. It How exciting for you to find that articles you've written in the past are still blessing readers.
Wishing you a beautiful day....Stay safe!
Brenda
Hi Brenda! Thanks and nice to hear from you again :) You and yours be safe as well. God bless!
Aww! Thank you for mentioning my blog post. I really enjoyed your series on God's Plan for Christian Wives too. I really learned a lot
from that series.
Our Farmer's Markets will be opening up here soon as well. I'm not sure if I want to go either but I am looking forward to the governor here in Arizona approving church services. Our stay at home order expires on the 15th so maybe we will get to finally meet with church family again.
Well have a wonderful Mother's Day.
You're welcome Regina. They have been opening up majority of the businesses here for the last two weeks. You have a blessed Mother's Day too!
I enjoyed reading this so much! I'm amazed at how much we have in common as I read your posts. I absolutely love that Charlotte Mason quote. She's one of my heroes. I have her set of books on education and tried to follow her example when homeschooling my kids. I noticed that you and I weren't next to each other in the lineup this month, but I looked for you and found you. :) Blessings to you, dear sister in the Lord.
Hi Gayl. So glad you were able to find me again! I love Charlotte Mason too. When we were homeschooling we took an eclectic approach. I incorporated many of her ideas for our studies. Hope you come again. May your week be blessed sis :)
