And whatsoever ye do...

Hello dear readers. I'm back to complete my final week of thankfulness. I was determined to stay with it and I'm happy I didn't give up. Here in the U.S. we just finished up the Thanksgiving season. The Christmas season has started and I want to stay in a thankful frame of mind. I will come back for the final days of this month to update this list.

The photo in the frame came from an online printable.

Colossians 3:17 (KJV)

And whatsoever ye do in word or deed,
do all in the name of the Lord Jesus,
giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

27. Today I'm thankful for this season of Advent beginning today. I love taking time out each day to reflect on Jesus Christ. He is the true reason for this season.
28. Today I'm thankful for Christmas Hymns that are centered on Christ. They bring me much joy.
29. Today I'm thankful for having some extra money to stock up on food and household items despite the skyrocketing high prices of everything due to this inflation.
30. Today I'm thankful I'll have these lists to look back on in days (and years) to come. It will be so useful, especially when going through tough/trying times.

Enter into His gates with...

Hello everyone. I'm back to start a new week of thankfulness. As we all know life happens and things don't always go as planned. On top of that, it is a busy time of the year. Some days it's hard to remember to write what I'm thankful but I'm determined to stay with it. I will come back throughout the week to update this list.

The photo in the frame came from an online printable.

Psalm 100:4-5 (NKJV)

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
And into His courts with praise.

Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the Lord is good;
His mercy is everlasting,
And His truth endures to all generations.

20. Today I'm thankful for someone giving us a free turkey. We had been to the store several times over the weekend trying to get one on sale but they were sold out each time.
21. Today I'm thankful for the food I had already prepped and put up in the freezer for busy days. It's coming in handy this week as I focus on preparing for Thanksgiving Day.
22. Today I'm thankful to have found everything I need to prepare and take with us when we visit family for Thanksgiving Day.
23. Today I'm thankful to have everything prepared to take with us when we go visit family.
24. Today I'm thankful for the time we will spend with our loved ones.
25. Today I'm thankful we made it back home safely and having a day of rest all day.

Rejoice always...

Hello everyone. I'm back to start a new week of thankfulness. Just like my pic says "there is always something to be thankful for". I will come back throughout the week to update this list.

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18(NKJV)

16 Rejoice always,
17 pray without ceasing,
18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
13. Today I'm thankful I've stuck with my health journey for another year.
14. Today I'm thankful for learning how to do a time capsule wardrobe. It has made a huge difference in keeping my clothes decluttered and getting dressed daily is a breeze.
15. Today I'm thankful we found a great deal on a new winter coat for me. It was only $45 which is a fraction of what it would have cost at full price.
16. Today I'm thankful that no matter what the outcome of the midterm elections our heavenly Father is still in control.
17. Today I'm thankful to still have some preachers around who teach sound doctrine although it's getting hard to come by them these days.
18. Today I'm thankful for being able to bless others with things I have that are still like new but I no longer have a use for.
19. Today I'm thankful for being able to donate many food items to others in need.

Let us come before His presence...

Last week I started a post listing what I'm grateful for. I'm back again to start a new week of thankfulness. Just like my pic says "there is always something to be thankful for". I missed posting yesterday's reflection so I will write it as well as today's thought.

This pic is a free printable I found online.

Psalm 95:2 (KJV)

Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

6. Today I'm thankful for the new home we purchased a few days before Christmas last year.
7. Today I'm thankful to live in a quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors.
8. Today I'm thankful for my loved ones who are still here with us.
9. Today I'm thankful for seeing the beneficial fruits of having homeschooled our special needs son. He's now an adult (with autism) who is able to go and cast his vote with true conviction and understanding of what's important to God. All these years later it shows how much he learned about the election process during our studies. He stayed up last night watching the results and is still checking the updates today :)
10. Today I'm thankful for the ability to have video calls when hubby is away from home all week due to work. He said it is not enough for him just to hear my voice. He needs to see my face to make his day better. He's a sweetheart :)
11. Today is Veteran's Day. I am thankful for all of our Veterans and for their service and sacrifice to keep us safe here in America.
12. Today I'm thankful for God's grace and mercy.

Oh give thanks...

The Thanksgiving season is upon us here in the U.S. So I want to begin writing a list of things I'm thankful for. I will come back often to keep updating this list throughout the month up until the last day. It is a great time for us to stop and reflect on all the ways the Lord has blessed us. No matter what is going on in our lives, it's like my pic says "there is always something to be thankful for". So with that being said let me get started sharing what I'm grateful for this year. I will start by sharing today's and yesterday's thoughts today.

This pic is a free printable I found online.

I Chronicles 16:34 (KJV)

Oh, give thanks unto the Lord;
for he is good; for his mercy
endureth for ever.

1. Today I'm thankful for Jesus Christ being my Lord and Savior.
2. Today I'm thankful to God for peaceful sleep each night.
3. Today I'm thankful we were able to visit our friends and see them celebrate 25 years of marriage by renewing their wedding vows. It was a beautiful time.
4. Today I'm thankful for my husband working so hard to take provide for his family. He has to deal with so much each day and I'm glad to make our home a pleasant haven for him to relax and feel at ease.
5. Today I'm thankful there are still a few older women who are not afraid to train/teach Biblical Womanhood. In this day and age, it is so hard to find (even in church) a godly older woman who is willing to help younger women understand their true Biblical roles. On the other hand, it can be rare to find many younger women who want to be mentored in that way as well.
