My Way of Menu Planning Snacks

Snacks are not the norm around our house these days since I changed to Intermittent Fasting last year. However, there are days someone wants a little something to grab just in case. I also like to have my “snack” as a dessert option instead whenever I eat my meal for the day.

This time I divided the list into different categories. This way I can quickly come up with a 4-week rotation.  This simple list allows me to mix and match snack ideas so it doesn’t feel like we’re always having the same thing over and over. Since I prepared my list of ideas in Word docs to screenshot and share here with you, just click on the image to enlarge it. That way you will be able to see it more clearly.

I will swap out some of the ingredients for us to continue eating our very low carb, high fat, high protein diet (Keto). Feel free to use this list if you like. If you missed my updated Breakfast and Lunch menu plans, go ahead and check those out. In the next couple of weeks, I will be back to share my updated Dinner menu plans with you.

Lunch Menu Planning My Way

I’m back again to share more of my meal plans. If you missed my updated breakfast menu ideas last week, please head over there and check them out. I have updated my list of meals that I like to plan for our weekly lunch. If we happen to have leftovers from dinner the night before, I'm sure to add them to the choice of lunch meals for the week as well. I love how this saves money on not having to rely on takeout. The best benefit is that food doesn't go to waste by getting thrown in the trash. No one in our home complains about leftovers so it’s not a problem for me to do this.

This meal list is great for rotating every week, bi-weekly, every 3-4 weeks, and so on. Click on the image to see it better. I like to keep the options of meals simple so that I don’t have to put a whole lot of thought into planning what to eat during this time of the day. I will "see" you again next week with more menu plans. Until then I hope you find this helpful :-)

Updated Menu Planning My Way {Breakfast}

Back in 2016, I shared my list of go to meals for my monthly menu plans. It’s hard to believe it has been over 10 years since I ventured off into the world of freezer cooking, batch cooking, and menu planning. I have learned so much through the years as I’ve tried various tips and tricks. It has been six years since I shared my post and I have gotten away from doing these simple plans. Lots of things have changed since then. Seeing everything going on these days with inflation, it’s no longer working for me to rely on searching online for new meals to try out all the time. I decided I need to go back to my earlier days of simple menu planning.

I've created a list of meals in different categories we usually end up having. This way I can quickly come up with 4 weeks or more worth of menu plans to put on my month of meals calendar. Lots of things on here I will mix and match for “new” meals so it doesn’t feel like we’re always having the same thing over and over. Several of these meals work as a Breakfast for Dinner (a.k.a Brinner) for us too. I prepared my list of ideas in Word docs so I could screenshot the list to share here with you. (Just click on the image to enlarge it to see more clearly.)

I plan to still swap out some of the ingredients for us to continue eating our very low carb, high fat, high protein diet we have come accustomed to over the past year (Keto). Feel free to use this list if you like. Next week I will be back to share my updated Lunch menu plans. Also, in case you missed it, here are my meal plans for July 2021 and August 2021. They have the plans from 2020 linked as well.
